100 Years of Kruger. Only 100 Bed Nights.
There is a moment just before the rains return where everything feels suspended.
The earth is dry. The air is charged. The sky gathers itself.
As part of our ongoing support and upliftment initiatives in aid of the local community and youth in our area, a team of our managers, along with their families, recently dedicated a day to revamping the local community school, Happy Homes. The initiative aimed to refresh and cheer up the play area for the children, promising a brighter, more vibrant space for learning and laughter.
With paintbrushes in hand and smiles on their faces, the volunteers descended upon the school grounds, ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. From the youngest members to the seasoned veterans, everyone lent a helping hand.
Old, weathered jungle gyms and swing sets were given a new lease of life with fresh coats of paint. As laughter filled the air, the once-dull play area blossomed into a kaleidoscope of fresh, fun colours!
But the efforts didn’t stop there. With unwavering determination, the volunteers worked tirelessly to clean up every nook and cranny, ensuring that the children would have a safe and hygienic environment to thrive in.
As the day drew to a close, the results of our team’s hard work were nothing short of remarkable. What was once a neglected corner of the community now stood as a beacon of hope and possibility, a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with a shared goal.

“Receiving Two MICHELIN Keys is an incredible honour,” says General Manager Gavin Ferreira. “But what makes it meaningful is that it reflects the passion of our team and the spirit of the place we are privileged to share with our guests.”
