Kruger Shalati would like to announce a new vacant position in the capacity of Sales Manager: Corporate/MICE/Leisure.
Position Overview
The Sales Manager: Corporate/MICE/Leisure will drive strategic revenue growth for the Motsamayi Tourism Group portfolio, including the iconic Kruger Shalati – The Train on the Bridge, Kruger Station, Kruger Untamed (Tshokwane River Camp & Satara Plains Camp), Sanctuary Mandela and any new Motsamayi Properties.
This role requires a dynamic and highly connected sales professional with a deep understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry.

Key Purpose of the Role
- Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy across corporate, MICE, group, and leisure segments for all properties.
- Identify, pursue and convert high-value opportunities with corporate companies, Travel
- Trade Partners (DMC and TMC) and PCOs
- Secure series, group and incentive business that aligns with the brand and revenue objectives.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, presentations and networking engagements to grow market share.
- Relationship Management
- Utilise an existing network of corporate and industry contacts to drive business growth immediately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, industry partners and decision-makers.
- Serve as the brand ambassador for the entire portfolio, ensuring strong visibility and presence in relevant markets.
- Brand Alignment & Representation
- Present and position our portfolio in a manner that reflects its premium, experiential and distinctive nature.
- Ensure all sales activities reflect the unique identity and high value of Kruger Shalati, Kruger Untamed, Kruger Station, Sanctuary Mandela and Motsamayi Tourism Group.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, corporate events, exhibitions and networking forums.
- Revenue Management & Reporting
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Work closely with Reservations and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions and campaign strategies.
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline development and key account performance.
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market shifts within Corporate, MICE, Series, Group and Leisure segments.
- Identify new opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments to maintain competitive edge.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years’ sales experience within the hospitality or tourism industry, with proven success in corporate sales, MICE, Series, Group and Leisure segments.
- Existing, active network of corporate clients, Travel Trade Partner and PCOs.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, polished and engaging personality suitable for a premium brand.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and product types within a single portfolio.
- Highly driven, professional, self-motivated and results oriented.
- Willingness to travel for sales calls, trade shows, client engagements and site visits.
